Description:

The CBRE EHS Manager oversees a team of CBRE EHS Specialists and Supervisors who are tasked with supporting Google EHS operations in the management of Google's overall EHS Programs. The duties of the EHS Manager for Operations is to ensure that Google receives the highest level of quality and service from the CBRE EHS team. The EHS Manager will ensure that the members on the CBRE EHS Operations team frequently collaborates on assigned tasks and deliverables and works collectively with other CBRE EHS pillars to ensure a cohesive and supportive team.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as an advisor to the client on regional EHS communications, strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage the creation and execution of project plans for local and regional EHS initiatives.
  • Engage in effective client management to ensure proper scoping and defining of deliverables.
  • Ensure the implementation of existing and new client EHS programs.
  • Oversee projects by the CBRE EHS team that include the development of design, content, and delivery methods of hands-on and online compliance training; guideline and standard operating procedures (SOPs); etc.
  • Provide advisory services to regional EHS partners including but not limited to Security operations and facilities management partners.
  • Manage projects that utilize a data tracking process and record keeping system, including incident investigation processes in the region.
  • Review and revise EHS programs to ensure relevance and compliance.
  • Production of data visualization (reports, files, system, or other media) based on client specifications, to include charts, infographics, and dashboards.
  • Lead a team working across a variety of sensitive, complicated, and challenging EHS workstreams
  • Manage incident investigation processes and data, including OSHA recordable and reportable requirements
  • Review and implement Bay Area event safety programs
  • Support both proactive and regulatory inspections for our clients

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Additional certifications as required by the local authority.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the HSE Manager position is $140,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the HSE Manager position is $150,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
