    Job Description

    • Partner with facility leadership to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace.
    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE programs, policies, and safe work practices that reduce operational risk.
    • Support compliance with OSHA regulations, the EPS Global HSE Management System, and applicable environmental requirements.
    • Lead safety initiatives, employee training, and incident investigations to strengthen safety performance and foster a proactive safety culture.
    • Monitor HSE metrics and recommend improvements that enhance operational excellence across multiple facilities.
    • Bachelor''s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related technical field preferred.
    • A minimum of 3 years of HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations.
    • Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations.
    • Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems preferred.
    • Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
    • Experience developing HSE policies, procedures, and employee training programs.
    • Strong hazard identification, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
    • Willingness to travel regularly between Youngstown, OH and Bridgeport, WV, with occasional additional travel as business needs require.
    • Serve as the primary HSE resource for facility leadership, providing guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters.
    • Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
    • Develop, maintain, and improve HSE policies, procedures, health and safety plans, and safe work practices.
    • Monitor HSE performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
    • Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs for employees and leadership.
    • Conduct safety meetings, audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 requirements.
    • Support implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the EPS Global HSE Management System.
    • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Travel between Youngstown, OH and Bridgeport, WV, with occasional additional travel to support business operations, training, and meetings.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
