JOB TITLE: Human Resources Administrator
LOCATION: Bothell, WA
PAY RATE: $28-30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Facilitate key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility, employment changes, and benefits administration for all worker types (employees, interns, temporary agency workers, and vendor professionals).
  • Ensure the HR information system (HRIS) is accurate and that all worker data and records are current and properly maintained.
  • Lead monthly data quality audits to ensure HR data accuracy, proper storage, and proactive identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, processes, and workflows to ensure data integrity and standardization of HRIS reporting.
  • Support special projects as needed, continually identifying ways to improve efficiency and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA), company policies, and HR best practices; provide guidance on workplace compliance matters.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Business Partners, Supply Chain, Contracts, IT, and management to deliver seamless employee experience for all worker types.
  • ReqBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in a mid-sized or larger organization within a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, or manufacturing).
  • Must meet U.S. Person requirements for roles subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work onsite five days per week (Monday–Friday, day shift).
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Replicon).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong process discipline and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to improving systems and processes, including planning and leading projects.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to streamline processes and document procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, respond with urgency, and balance short- and long-term priorities.
  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 10 pounds, and maintain visual focus.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems.
  • Knowledge of employment and benefits laws and regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, PFML).
