Job description
Group Description: Evercore is looking to hire an Analyst for its Human Capital Group (HCG). The individual will be responsible for supporting the team's everyday administrative functions and reporting to the Head of Onboarding/Offboarding. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on client-service, problem solving, proactively resolving issues and attention to detail. The global Human Capital Group consists of 70 members and supports a premier global independent investment banking advisory firm of approximately 2,600 employees globally. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following areas:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Human Capital (HCG) team
- Manage full end-to-end onboarding process for external hires, including new hire documentation, orientation scheduling, I-9 verification, and follow-up on outstanding requirements
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and tracking reports for new hires, transfers, and terminations
- Provide exceptional HR support to employees and managers across multiple lines of business and U.S.-managed global offices, including the United States, Asia, Canada, and Israel
- Enter, maintain, and audit employee records and personnel changes within Workday (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Manage electronic and physical employee personnel files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Utilize AI-powered HR technologies and automation tools to streamline administrative processes, improve data accuracy, enhance employee communications, generate reports, and identify opportunities for greater operational efficiency
- Partner on firm-wide Human Capital initiatives and cross-functional projects, including:
- Planning, organizing, and executing employee engagement and corporate philanthropy initiative
- Coordinating project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution
- Collaborating with internal teams and business partners across departments to support strategic HR initiatives.
- Assisting with HR audits, documenting policies and procedures, and recommending process improvements through data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
- Preparing meeting agendas, presentations, reports, and other business documentation using modern productivity and AI-assisted tools
- Analyze HR data and trends to support decision-making, workforce planning, and continuous process improvement
- Participating in various ad-hoc projects and performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of experience
- Excellent analytical, time-management and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills - both written and oral
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated
- Strong organizational/administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Flexible to work later (as needed)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest and/or experience in Human Resources
- Familiarity with HRIS/Workday
- Independent/strategic thinker
- Sensitivity to confidential matters
- Desire and ability to work in a smaller team-oriented environment
Expected Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
