The Office of Employee and Business Services (OEBS) provides customer service and operational support to ODJFS through five bureaus: Business Services, Civil Rights and Labor Relations, Human Resources, Multimedia Services, and Training and Educational Services. What You Will Do
The Human Capital Management (HCM) Senior Analyst in the Bureau of Human Resources helps build a strong, capable workforce by supporting thoughtful, well‑structured recruitment and hiring practices. In this role, selected candidates will partner closely with assigned offices to understand staffing needs, guide hiring decisions, and manage the full recruitment process-from job analysis and assessment development to posting, screening and selection. By using effective approaches to connect with qualified candidates at all career levels, these positions directly support ODJFS's Guiding Principles and contributes to the agency's ability to provide high‑quality services to Ohioans. Job duties include:
Schedule: Full-time.
Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Location: James A. Rhodes State Officer Tower - 30 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215.
Travel: Occasional travel within the state of Ohio as need.

Pay Information
Positions are in the State of Ohio's E1 Pay Schedule, Pay Range 12. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $33.32 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
