WHAT YOULL DO
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, drivers, and prospective applicants, providing professional in-person and phone support and responding to inquiries related to Driver Services and Recruiting.
- Support the driver hiring and onboarding process by guiding applicants through recruitment steps, conducting background investigations, verifying information, and assisting with driver orientation.
- Act as a proactive driver advocate and liaison between drivers, applicants, Recruiting, Operations, and other departments to facilitate clear communication and ensure a smooth transition through orientation and into operations.
- Support driver outreach, recruiting, and retention initiatives, assist with departmental activities and special projects, and perform additional duties as assigned.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- One or more years of experience in customer service, recruiting, administrative support, or a related field.
- One or more years of experience in the transportation industry, with knowledge of driver qualification and compliance processes.
- Working knowledge of current FMCSA regulations related to driver qualification, DOT compliance, and related requirements.
- Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the office for extended periods, with occasional lifting or carrying of light materials and supplies. The employee must be able to communicate effectively in person and by phone and use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other related technology.
