Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and benefits with clarity and compassion.
Own and optimize the full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes, creating a seamless and engaging employee journey.
Maintain and update employee records with impeccable accuracy (HRIS experience preferred).
Partner with managers on performance conversations, employee relations matters, and corrective actions while ensuring legal compliance.
Coordinate benefit enrollment, leave tracking (FMLA, ADA, etc.), and open enrollment efforts.
Support the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and background checks.
Assist in designing internal communication strategies that support engagement, inclusion, and recognition.
Monitor and enforce compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal protocols.
Champion company culture through small moments and big initiatives.
25 years of HR Generalist or similar HR experience.
Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO), and HR compliance.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms (such as ADP, Paycom, BambooHR, or similar).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you're both a good listener and a clear, concise communicator.
Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a sense of calm and professionalism.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus, but not required.
A sense of humor and a deep belief that HR can be both compliant and creative.
