Human Resources Generalist Location: Greer, SC Pay: $65k-$68k The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day HR operations at our Greer, South Carolina, facility while also providing HR support to our McPherson, KS. This role is a key part of maintaining consistent HR processes, supporting employees and supervisors, and ensuring a strong, visible HR presence on the production floor. The position requires someone comfortable managing daily HR responsibilities while building relationships and trust across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to take on greater ownership and independence. We're looking for someone who can step in, manage day-to-day with confidence, and take the time to learn our business, our people, and how we approach HR across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Manage HRIS, employee records, and HR processes
- Lead recruiting efforts for nonexempt and contingent roles
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation
- Serve as a front-line resource for employees and supervisors
- Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and follow-up
- Administer benefits and support open enrollment
- Support supervisors with attendance tracking, policy questions, and basic performance issues
- Review timecards and provide backup payroll support
- Assist with FMLA, workers' compensation, and unemployment
- Support compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Partner with leadership at the Kansas facility on HR-related needs
- Support safety initiatives and maintain OSHA documentation
Qualifications Required: - 3-5+ years of HR experience (Generalist or strong Coordinator level)
- Experience supporting core HR functions (recruiting, onboarding, records, benefits, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office
Preferred: - Bachelor's degree
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP)
- Manufacturing experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
