Human Resources Generalist The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role partners with leadership and employees to ensure effective HR operations, compliance with employment laws, anda positive workplace culture. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located near Schaumburg, IL. Key Responsibilities
  • Manages full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
  • Coordinates onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth and compliant start for all employees.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
  • Maintains accurate employee records and HRIS data in compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Administers HR programs including benefits, compensation, leave management, and performance management.
  • Supports employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assists with training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational development efforts.
  • Generates HR reports and provides data insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5+ years of Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple functional areas.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Pay $24- $29 an hour, depending on experience
