Role and Responsibilities

The District seeks a Human Resources Generalist for the District Office for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Human Resources Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources Department through a variety of human resources, onboarding, compliance, reporting, and employee support functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong commitment to accurate data entry, record management, and verification of personnel information, recognizing the importance of accuracy in payroll, benefits, compliance, contracts, and employee records.

  • Coordinate and process volunteer applications, including annual Raptor approvals and renewals.

  • Manage and maintain job postings through WECAN.

  • Coordinate interview scheduling and support recruitment activities.

  • Facilitate onboarding for new employees, including new hire paperwork, Skyward entry, communication with staff, and coordination with Information Technology regarding badges and access.

  • Create and process Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for new hires, staffing changes, resignations, retirements, and terminations.

  • Coordinate employee separation processes and maintain appropriate records and compliance documentation.

  • Maintain employee records and HR tracking systems, including FTE, personnel, licensing, and technology spreadsheets.

  • Manage annual teacher contract processing and posting in Skyward.

  • Coordinate co-curricular contracts

  • Maintain employee licensure records and monitor Wisconsin DPI licensing requirements and renewals.

  • Manage employee training assignments and compliance through Vector Solutions.

  • Conduct driving record checks for employees, volunteers, and approved drivers.

  • Prepare board-approved hire, resignation, retirement, and termination correspondence.

  • Update and maintain Personnel Summary Reports and supporting board documents.

  • Coordinate annual biometric screening opportunities for employees.

  • Create and maintain annual employee calendars and upload calendars into Skyward.

  • Support FMLA and worker's compensation processes, including communication, documentation, and reporting.

  • Assist with preparation and submission of state and federal reporting requirements, including EEO reporting.

  • Generate reports and data requests through Skyward and other district systems.

  • Assist with New Teacher Orientation and onboarding activities.

  • Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive employee information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.
