We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
This position is an in Temp to Hire position.
Position starts off as a, Tuesday- Wednesday - Thursday in person.
Responsibilities
Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Maintain employee records and manage data collection using HR software such as ADP, Oracle, UltiPro, or Dayforce.
Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
Address employee relations issues by providing conflict management support and guidance.
Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Monitor employee performance evaluations and provide support for performance management processes.
Collaborate with management to develop strategies for employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
SHRM Certification preferred
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
Familiarity with HR software systems such as , ADP, Oracle, UltiPro, or Dayforce is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of employment labor laws and regulations.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection and record maintenance.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
