One of our best clients is currently seeking a Human resource generalist for their facility located right outside of Omaha NE. They are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join a fast-paced food manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys supporting employees at every level, and can balance day-to-day HR operations with long-term people initiatives. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish preferred) are strongly encouraged to apply, as clear communication across our diverse workforce is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations - Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors, addressing concerns, coaching leaders, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Recruiting & Onboarding - Support full-cycle hiring for hourly and salaried roles, coordinate interviews, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • HR Compliance - Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits and documentation.
  • Training & Development - Assist with safety training, skills development, and workforce education initiatives.
  • Payroll & Benefits Support - Help employees navigate benefits, leave programs, and payroll questions.
  • HR Administration - Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS updates, and reporting.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing , production , or distribution environments
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus
