Human Resource Generalist

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the Human Resources functions at steel manufacturing facility. The Generalist will work with the HR Manager to ensure the organizations needs are met. Responsibilities may include recruiting, onboarding, grievance response preparation, benefits administration as well as serving as a secondary backup for payroll processing. Experience in a unionized environment highly preferred.

This position reports to the Plant Human Resources Manager, but supports the entire team in a collaborative environment. Duties are primarily office, but willingness to be a presence on the plant floor is important to success in this role.
