Human Resources Manager
Location: On-Site in Montgomery County, PA
Shift: 7:30-3:30 (Mon-Fri)
Compensation: Up to $115,000, based on experience
Reports to: Owner
The Opportunity
The ideal candidate combines strong HR expertise with the emotional intelligence and practical leadership needed to earn the trust of a hands-on workforce. This is an opportunity to stabilize HR operations, strengthen employee relationships, and guide meaningful organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HR operations across multiple manufacturing facilities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the owner and management team.
Oversee performance management and related documentation.
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
Administer employee benefits and insurance programs.
Oversee workers’ compensation matters.
Lead environmental, health, and safety compliance efforts.
Maintain compliant employee records and document-retention practices.
Promote consistent HR policies and practices across both locations.
Build productive relationships with employees, supervisors, and company leadership.
Lead and develop an HR support team consisting initially of one direct report, with anticipated growth.
Introduce improvements in a way that earns workforce understanding, trust, and support.

Required Qualifications
Human resources leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing multiple HR functions, including performance management, onboarding, benefits, workers’ compensation, compliance, and employee documentation.
Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal judgment.
Demonstrated ability to enter an established organization and earn the trust of its workforce.
Ability to balance employee advocacy with the operational needs of the business.
Clear, confident communication skills and a highly visible, people-focused leadership style.
Ability to work on-site and travel periodically between company facilities.
Preferred Background
Experience supporting more than one manufacturing location.
Career experience with multiple organizations, providing exposure to different cultures, systems, and approaches.
A record of successfully taking over an established HR function.
Experience leading organizational or process changes while maintaining workforce support.
Experience managing or developing HR team members.
