Human Resource Representative (On-site)

Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resource Representative to support a wide range of HR functions in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for maintaining HR operations, supporting employees, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a positive and productive workplace.

• Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation
• Process employee data including hires, terminations, and benefits changes
• Assist with HR projects and ongoing initiatives
• Support benefits administration including enrollments, updates, and employee inquiries
• Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates to employees and management
• Provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters including policies and benefits
• Investigate and help resolve employee concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with recruiting efforts including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate selection
• Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and I-9 completion
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years of HR experience
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or shipyard environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to create presentations and reports
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
