Job Title: Human Resource SpecialistPay Rate: $39 - $51 per hour (DOE)Location: Mojave, CAArea Code: 661Shift: 1st ShiftEmployment Type: Contract (Contract to Direct)Job SummaryThe Human Resource Specialist will serve as a key employee-facing partner within a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. Reporting to the Human Resource General Manager, this role supports day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance initiatives while helping cultivate and strengthen company culture. The ideal candidate is a people-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. This position requires a proactive, solutions-driven HR professional with experience supporting hourly and operational teams.Key Responsibilities* Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and front-line leadership.* Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs.* Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for warehouse and manufacturing roles.* Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution.* Partner with leadership to reinforce company culture, engagement, and retention initiatives.* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.* Support performance management processes, including evaluations and corrective action documentation.* Assist with benefits administration, leave management (FMLA, ADA), and policy interpretation.* Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.Required Qualifications* Bachelor"s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.* Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience.* Experience supporting employees within a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.* Strong employee relations background with demonstrated conflict resolution skills.* Experience conducting onboarding and new hire orientation programs.* Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be a people person.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.* Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.* U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.Preferred Qualifications* HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).* Experience high-volume operational environment.* Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
