    Description

    The Human Resource Support position is responsible for various administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, accurate reporting, and assisting with the recruitment process. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist in all HR-related requests and inquiries
    • Lead the company hiring process by identifying top candidates, conducting reference checks, and preparing employment terms
    • Update online job posting requirements when needed
    • Schedule HR events, meetings, and interviews
    • Communicate with candidates during the hiring process
    • Organize and perform employee orientations for new hires
    • Generate reports as requested
    • Finalize termination paperwork and assist with exit interviews
    • Handle grievances and complaints
    • Produce and distribute HR documentation
    • File and maintain employee records
    • Communicate with third-party benefit providers and vendors
    • Process all paid and non-paid leave claims
    • Responsible for tracking and maintaining records for unemployment insurance claims
    • Update weekly payroll reporting for management

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field a plus
    • Previous experience working in HR required
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Experience with HR functions and payroll practices
    • Close attention to detail
    • Solid ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Excellent proficiency in business and communication tools
