Job Summary NAMS is seeking a team-focused HR Administrator to provides crucial administrative and general support focused on managing employee data and files, data entry, and project support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of human resources or administrative experience in a fast-paced construction, trades, or manufacturing environment and who are seeking a career in the field of Human Resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains employee personnel files Performs accurate data entry into the HRIS and other systems and spreadsheets Assists with benefits administration Assists with internal HR data audits Assists with recruitment and onboarding Generates reports from HRIS as needed Maintains adequate levels of office supplies Greets visitors; issues and retrieves temporary badges Copies, collates, and compiles information as requested Assists with organization of NAMS merchandise Other admininstrative duties and projects as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma; AA degree in HR or Business preferred, or pursuing a degree Requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant HR admin experience Experience working for a construction or trades-services company a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and other computer applications including HRIS; BambooHR experience a plus Friendly demeanor with a customer-service mindset Possesses strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with integrity High degree of attention to detail Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Excellent communication and people skills
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Use of both hands Requires ability to walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, bend, push, pull, lift, and reach Must have vision, hearing, and ability to talk Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
