What we are looking for:
indiGO's Central Region is seeking a full-time, in-office Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team based in Houston, TX. This is a wonderful entry-level opportunity to work with a cohesive and supportive team.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:
- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts across multiple dealership locations, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer administration, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support recruiting strategies.
- Conduct initial phone screens, candidate outreach, and interview coordination as needed.
- Attend and participate in college career fairs, networking events, and recruiting initiatives.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, new hire documentation, and new hire packages.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HR compliance initiatives across the organization.
- Perform regular audits of personnel files, HR documentation, and required compliance items.
- Monitor completion of required training and compliance programs and follow up with managers as needed.
- Assist with HR reporting, compliance tracking, and other department administrative functions.
- Support employee engagement efforts, including employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Collaborate with the HR team on special projects related to employee experience, process improvement, and organizational growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and recommend innovative solutions.
- Code HR-related invoices and support department expense processing.
- Support the HR Generalist, HR Manager, and HR Director with special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The opportunity is for you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
- Previous HR Internship or HR Administrator experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual skills a plus - English/Spanish.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to travel.
- Open to learning and adapting to change.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred but not required.
