Human Resources Analyst I

$54,000 - $67,000| Hybrid with in-person reporting to Duluth, MN

Drive the systems and insights that power a seamless employee experience by managing HRIS processes across payroll, benefits, compensation, reporting, and compliance. Partner with HR, leadership, and technology teams to optimize data, streamline processes, solve problems, and keep critical HR systems running smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Administer and implement human resources information system (HRIS) processes and programs in a variety of areas including payroll, benefits, employment, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to support the management of timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals, budgeting, and payroll related reporting.
  • Create data reports for internal partners and external entities, while working closely with HR staff and organization leadership to identify reporting needs and streamline processes.
  • Coordinate with HR and technology teams to plan, install, modify, and test new applications as well as facilitate patches, and updates.
  • Conduct surveys on human resources programs, policies, and practices, and establish and maintain internal/external relationships.
  • Create and maintain employment-related records to meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist employees, retirees and supervisors with questions regarding human resources information systems.
  • Address employee questions, research HR policies, and leverage technology for efficient resource utilization.
  • Stay current on HRIS trends, advancements, and exercise independent judgment in problem-solving and communication.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Degree in management information systems, computer science, computer information systems, human resources, or business analytics preferred.

  • Course work in human resources management, preferred.

  • No prior experience required.

  • Experience with enterprise software preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to establish and maintain positive working relationships.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.

The expected annual base compensation range for this position is $54,000 - $67,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package including:
