The City of Culver City's Human Resources Department is seeking two (2) experienced Human Resources Analysts to join our collaborative and innovative team. We are looking for well-rounded HR professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy partnering with departments to deliver strategic and operational Human Resources solutions.
These positions offer the opportunity to serve as trusted Human Resources business partners supporting a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee and laborrelations, policy development, organizational development, training, performance management, workforce planning, and special projects. Human Resources Analysts independently manage complex assignments, provide strategic guidance to departments, and help advance organizational goals through innovative and customer-focused HR solutions.
One position will serve as a Human Resources Generalist, supporting multiple City departments across a variety of human resources disciplines. The ideal candidate will have broad HR experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
The second position will be dedicated to supporting the City's Transportation Department. This role requires an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and labor relations within a transit or transportation environment. The successful candidate will partner closely with Transportation leadership to address complex personnel matters, provide strategic guidance on employment issues, conduct workplace investigations, and promote positive employee and labor relations in a dynamic, unionized operation.

Training and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to training and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be: (1) a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business or public administration and (2) two years of professional or technical personnel work. A Master's degree may be substituted for one year's work experience.
License and Certificates:
Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license, if assigned to drive.
Oral Appraisal Interview (weighed at 100%): To evaluate education, experience, training, and personal qualifications (Tentatively scheduled for the week of August 3, 2026)
