Human Resources Assistant Highlights
  • The pay for this position is $20.78 per hour .
  • Full-time | Monday through Friday | 40+ hours per week
  • 100% onsite position
  • This position is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform extensive cross-referencing, look-ups, and high-volume data entry for a large employee database.
  • Assist with daily administrative functions throughout the employee lifecycle, including new hires and status changes.
  • Ensure all required employment paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support post-offer onboarding activities, including I-9 verification through E-Verify , background screenings, and drug testing coordination.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and employment-related forms.
  • Manage document control and process employment verification requests.
  • Provide employees and managers with policy and process information, escalating more complex issues to HR Consultants when appropriate.
  • Assist with benefits administration, wellness initiatives, and maintenance of the Corporate Intranet.
  • Support a high-volume data integrity project involving the review and entry of records for 1,500–2,000 employees .

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required and must be verifiable.
  • Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days .
  • Previous experience in Human Resources or high-volume administrative/data entry work is required.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with E-Verify and HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation for a large workforce.
