DPP is seeking a Human Resources Assistant for our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry.
 
Work location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 contract
Work authorization: US Citizen
 
Position summary:
  • Our client in the Defense Systems sector is seeking an Interview Scheduler to join the Talent Acquisition Operations team. Individuals will be responsible for administrative tasks related to scheduling interviews, although separate project tasks may also be assigned.
  • Interview Schedulers liaise with job applicants, hiring managers, and recruiters to support timely interview scheduling while ensuring a positive and professional experience for all stakeholders. 
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating interviewer and candidate availability, initiating Outlook calendar invitations and sending confirmation emails with scheduling details and interview materials.
  • Coordinating candidate travel as needed, to include expense reimbursement.
  • Solving problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, and analytical skills.
  • Utilizing organizational systems and the Microsoft Office suite to maintain accurate and complete documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Perform job duties while maintaining high levels of speed, accuracy, and customer service.
Basic qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of administrative work experience; will consider a Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency with Workday
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to support talent acquisition projects, as needed
Preferred qualifications:
  • Previous experience supporting interview scheduling for Talent Acquisition
  • Previous talent acquisition or human resources experience
