Pay Range: $24.24.00 to $25.80/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
HR Assistant
The HR Assistant provides administrative and customer service support to the Human Resources department. This role supports employee onboarding, HRIS data entry and verification, personnel record maintenance, and routine HR office workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, organized, and comfortable handling confidential employee information.
Key Responsibilities:- Support new-hire onboarding, including completion and verification of required documentation.
- Maintain and update employee information in UKG and Meditech HRIS systems.
- Audit employee files to ensure required documentation and compliance standards are met.
- Process employee termination paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to employee questions through phone, email, voicemail, and in-person interactions.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, mail processing, and office supply management.
- Support tracking and recordkeeping for Life Support certifications and non-employee/visitor onboarding.
- Assist with employee referral bonus processing and coordinate with Talent Acquisition to verify referral information.
- Handle confidential employee and HR information with discretion and sound judgment.
Required Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to 1 year of office/business experience; HR experience or public-facing/customer service experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, typing, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:- 1–3 years of HR administrative experience.
- Experience with UKG and/or Meditech.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
