- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, home care, or a regulated industry is a plus.
- Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and conducting interviews.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policies and state and Home Instead regulations.
- Track and monitor caregiver licenses, certifications, background checks, and training requirements.
- Support payroll and timekeeping processes by collecting and verifying employee information.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain confidential records.
- Assist with employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and home care regulations.
- Perform other HR, administrative, and team duties as assigned.
