Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented HR Coordinator to support plant operations and workforce management in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Production Supervisors, union representatives, and hourly employees to drive engagement, ensure compliance with labor agreements, and maintain smooth day to day HR operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced setting, enjoys interacting with people, and can balance administrative accuracy with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire orientations and track completion of required training
  • Partner with Production Supervisors to process production paperwork and support investigations
  • Assist with attendance tracking, discipline processes, and grievance or complaint research
  • Maintain labor relations by accurately scheduling employees in accordance with collective bargaining agreements
  • Process timecards and support payroll related activities
  • Prepare and report on HR and operational metrics
  • Maintain and update confidential personnel records, employment data, and HR documentation
  • Provide on site support to plant employees, addressing HR related inquiries and needs
  • Assist with plant initiatives, events, and HR projects as required

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with plant teams
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Customer service mindset with a commitment to supporting business and employee needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 2 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience working in a unionized environment or with labor agreements
  • Familiarity with scheduling, timekeeping, and workforce planning processes
