Human Resources Assistant - Seasonal
Helping the People Behind the Magic
Help prepare and organize new hire paperwork and onboarding materials
Support new hire orientations and onboarding sessions
Ensure employee files are complete, accurate, and well organized
Maintains various applicant files, and confidentiality of all paperwork and information in Human Resources.
Assist with payroll-related tasks such as data entry, timecard reviews, and follow-ups
Support benefits enrollment and employee questions, as needed
Help with compliance tracking, audits, and documentation
Serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for employee questions
Assist with employee engagement activities, events, and communications
Support the HR Managers with documentation and follow-up related to employee relations matters
Help promote a positive, inclusive, and fun workplace culture
Interest in learning HR processes, employment laws, and people operations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and HR systems a plus)
Clear communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
