This is a part-time temporary position anticipated to work up to 18 hours per week for the period of June 1, 2026 through August 30, 2026. This position is not benefits-eligible.
The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Payroll/Benefits departments. This role ensures efficient operations and compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Handle confidential information in compliance with Academy policy, state, and federal law.
- Update, maintain, and audit employee data in HRIS system and document management system.
- Scan, organize, and file employee records and documents to maintain accurate and accessible files.
- Process part-time employee contracts and onboarding and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. Process background checks and perform Form I-9 verifications.
- Provide support for systems upgrades and implementations and process improvements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
