    Job Title: HR Business Partner

    Location: Orange, CA (On-Site)

    Contract Terms: estimated 90-days (LOA coverage). The assignment may be extended based on business needs and the duration of the leave.

     

    Client Partnership: We are proud to partner with a leading probiotic and dietary supplement manufacturer to identify this HR professional who will support operational excellence, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive HR Business Partner (Bilingual Spanish) to serve as a strategic and hands-on operations-level business partner. This role emphasizes employee relations, project management, and collaboration with multi-site initiatives. The HR Business Partner will act as a first responder for employee relations, foster a culture of responsiveness and compliance, and ensure seamless integration of corporate functions into site-level operations. This role requires autonomy and a strong connection to company-wide HR operations, with a bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (desirable).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as a first responder to employee relations issues, conducting investigations and documentation.
    • Escalate issues to appropriate HR leadership as needed.
    • Manage corrective actions, mentoring, and coaching initiatives.
    • Support succession planning and help line-level leaders identify high performers.
    • Foster a culture of responsiveness and adherence to state and federal compliance mandates.
    • Lead site-level administrative and operational projects with autonomy.
    • Contribute to larger, multi-site HR initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration.
    • Integrate higher-level corporate functions into site-level operations effectively.
    • Build strong partnerships with operations leaders and managers.
    • Ensure barrier-free engagement and process effectiveness across all levels.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at the site and corporate levels.
    • Identify and utilize the correct tools to resolve issues proactively.
    • Ensure continuous improvement in HR processes and resolutions.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement effective issue-resolution strategies to mitigate risks.
    • Act with the goal to achieve zero litigation or adverse impacts to the organization.
    • Mentor and coach managers and employees to enhance their capabilities.
    • Support training initiatives to build a high-performing workforce.

    Success Metrics:

    • Compliance metrics and adherence to state and federal mandates.
    • Positive feedback and engagement from key stakeholders.
    • Reduction of issues and implementation of effective resolutions.
    • Mitigate risk with the goal of issue resolution and zero litigation or adverse organizational impacts.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and project management.
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong connections with company-wide HR functions.
    • Proactive in identifying and utilizing tools for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with leaders across various levels and functions.
    • Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
    Compensation:

    The projected hourly range is estimated at $40.00 - $45.00 per hour, representing the low and high ends of the range. The actual compensation will be formulated by the client and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, work experience, education, and training.
