Job Summary:Naniq is seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Hawaii-based operations and regional teams. This role partners closely with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational performance in a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment.The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR execution, with strong experience in employee relations, leadership coaching, and compliance.About Us:Naniq is a third-party logistics company dedicated to providing the most innovative solutions for the Multinational Logistics Corporations (MLCs) we serve. We enable the MLC to deepen customer relationships by applying our expertise across many verticals (ocean, air, road, final mile, etc.). Through our vast network of contacts and partners, we offer a buffet of complex services that most MLCs are unable to easily offer on their own. Acting as the MLC, Naniq is able to capture incremental profit and deepen relationships with shippers - all to the benefit of the partnered MLC.Pay Range:$70,000 -$112,000 annually (DOE)In compliance with Hawaii pay transparency expectations, the posted range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with operations and functional leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectivesProvide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and change managementAct as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders at all levels
Employee Relations & Engagement
Lead and manage employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolutionEnsure fair, consistent, and compliant HR practicesFoster a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture
Talent & Performance Management
Support performance management processes, including coaching and development planningPartner on talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategiesDrive succession planning and leadership development initiatives
Compliance & HR Operations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsSupport policies and practices aligned with a transportation/logistics environmentPartner with leadership in union or non-union environments as applicable
Data & Insights
Analyze HR metrics including turnover, retention, and engagementDeliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve workforce outcomes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of progressive HR experience (HR Generalist, HRBP, or similar role)Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practicesExperience supporting operations, logistics, transportation, or industrial environments
Preferred
Experience in trucking, supply chain, or Alaska-based logistics operationsExposure to unionized environmentsHR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed teams
