POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team. The HRBP will work closely with our leaders to support the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a track record of successful partnership with business leaders. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in labor law, compliance, and employee relations. They will be a motivated self-starter and organized thinker with influential skills. This is an onsite position working out of Teaneck NJ office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business leaders to provide HR support, advice, and guidance on key HR areas such as talent management, performance management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with business leaders to create and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a culture of engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
- Work closely with the HR Operations Team to facilitate the seamless execution of all employee-related requests from the business.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all levels of the organization to ensure a strong HR presence and enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Lead or participate in HR projects as assigned, including organizational design, change management, and talent development.
- Coach and mentor managers on HR best practices and provide training on HR topics as needed.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints, harassment, and discrimination allegations, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Partner with legal counsel to develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary action, and terminations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on business partnering and strategic HR initiatives.
- HR professional certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR or SHRM-SCP.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and effectively influence decision-making.
- Able to facilitate difficult conversations as well as mitigate and/or resolve conflict
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- MS Office 365 core applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- HR certification such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment,.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and manage change effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive HR strategies.
- Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday
- MS Office 365 core applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
