Are you a people-first HR professional who thrives on building partnerships, driving performance, and shaping a positive workplace culture? We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and support our stores with all aspects of human resourcesfrom labor relations and performance management to recruitment and career development. This role acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to both management and employees, ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives.

This position can be based out of our Morris Plains or Tinton Falls, NJ store.

What Youll Do

  • Provide coaching and performance management support to leaders and teams.

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager on store-level recruitment, including managers and clerks (ATS management, resume review, interviewing, offers, and onboarding).

  • Review and manage employee relations issues for the stores, working collaboratively with department managers and store management staff

  • Monitor and analyze HR data to drive process improvements.

  • Lead employee recognition and development programs to boost engagement.

  • Work collaboratively with the Human Resources Corporate team on important or critical decisions that may or may not involve immediate adverse actions.

  • Deliver insightful data and proactive solutions to influence decision-making.

  • Identify issues and implement scalable solutions across the organization.

What Were Looking For

  • BS Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required

  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP required.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - UKG system

  • Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration and influence.

  • Proven ability to mentor, build teams, and manage stakeholders effectively.

  • Data-driven thinker with the ability to analyze trends and recommend solutions.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills.

(This position requires travel to both Morris Plains, NJ and Tinton Falls, NJ store locations. Mileage is paid for travel.)
