Bachelor’s degree required
7+ years of progressive HR experience with strong employee relations focus
Must have recent healthcare or behavioral health experience
High-volume employee relations experience (25+ cases/week in large, complex environments) required
Strong leadership advisory and coaching skills
Ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational setting
Strong knowledge of Wisconsin employment law and employee relations best practices
Workday or UKG experience preferred
Must be comfortable handling difficult conversations and complex HR issues independently
No generalist backgrounds—must be ER-heavy and business-facing
Serve as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders across high-volume, 24/7 healthcare operations
Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations, leadership coaching, and organizational effectiveness
Support complex employee relations cases including investigations, corrective action, and conflict resolution
Partner on talent management initiatives including performance management, succession planning, and workforce planning
Support change management efforts and organizational design initiatives
Collaborate with TA, Total Rewards, and HR leadership to ensure alignment across HR functions
Analyze HR trends and data to identify opportunities for improvement and proactive solutions
Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws while maintaining best HR practices
Facilitate leadership coaching and guidance on team dynamics and performance issues
Participate in HR projects and enterprise-wide initiatives to enhance employee engagement and effectiveness
