    Job Description

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelors degree. A minimum of two years of experience in human resources to include payroll, recruitment or labor relations; OR two years of experience in data or job analysis, human resources metrics, market analysis, compensation surveys, or salary research are required. Additional experience in human resources to include payroll, recruitment or labor relations OR job analysis, human resources metrics, market analysis, compensation surveys, or salary research may substitute for the college education on a year for year basis.

    Recruitment Notes

    Employees in this classification are responsible for performing a variety of complex assignments in various phases of job analysis, position classification and compensation administration. Incumbents may also conduct special occupational or job analysis studies. Responsibilities include analysis and classification of a wide variety of positions, development of recommendations for new or revised classification titles, series of positions and development of new or revised minimum qualification standards for various classifications.

    Benefits Overview

    Miami-Dade County provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. Employees may choose to enroll in optional 457 pre-tax savings plans and optional Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Leave benefits include 13 paid holidays, one birthday holiday, and three floating holidays, in addition to accrued vacation and sick leave. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the Florida Retirement System (FRS), which requires a 3% pre-tax employee contribution. Please note that specific benefit options and eligibility requirements may be governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements and the official date of hire.
