Immediate need for a talented Human Resources Consultant – Employee & Labor Relations. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Pasadena, CA(Hybrid). Key Responsibilities: Support development and implementation of HR programs and strategic HR roadmaps Partner with management on employee relations, labor relations, organizational change, and workforce planning Coach leaders and employees on performance management, leadership development, communication, and team effectiveness Conduct and document workplace investigations with urgency and accuracy Advise management on staffing, retention, compensation, terminations, employee relations, and organizational design Interpret and uphold HR policies and practices while recommending improvements when appropriate Facilitate problem-solving sessions and team development discussions Coordinate training and development solutions that support cultural change and organizational effectiveness Strengthen the use of performance management and performance development practices across the organization. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience 2–4 years of HR generalist experience 3+ years of experience working with labor unions Experience with employee relations and workplace investigations Knowledge of California labor laws Strong coaching, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills Ability to influence leaders and employees through collaboration Excellent conflict resolution, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Thorough knowledge of HR policies, practices, and systems SPHR strongly preferred Employee relations in a unionized environment Collective bargaining agreement experience Labor relations, grievance handling, and contract interpretation Organizational development and change leadership Leadership coaching and performance management support Healthcare or large matrixed organization experience Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
