Yes& is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role will help to run the daily functions of the Human Resources department. This role will focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records, onboarding/offboarding team members, coordinating recruitment efforts, and running the Yes& internship program. 

This is an excellent role for someone who is administratively focused, highly organized, and self-motivated. While Human Resources experience is preferred, applicants experienced in administrative skills will also be considered. 

This role is primarily remote, but this team member must have the ability to have a presence in our Alexandria, VA office on an as-needed basis. 

What You Will Do 

  • Assist with candidate pre-screening and reference checks 

  • Assemble orientation materials and schedules for new employees 

  • Host onboarding meetings and check-ins with new employees  

  • Monitor and maintain records of internal training programs 

  • Coordinate, staff, and facilitate the programming for Yes&’s Internships 

  • Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, and tax information 

  • Process employment applications and assist in recording new hire documentation 

  • Assist in the management of monthly performance review cycles 

  • Additional administrative assistance as needed or requested. 

Experience You Need 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • 1-2 years of human resources experience, or equivalent administrative experience 

  • Possess a strong sense of professionalism and communication skills, both verbal and written 

  • Ability to keep departmental information confidential 

  • Knowledge and understanding of HRIS platforms and their function 

  • Very strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects  
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 Suite, and ideally a generally tech savvy person
