Essential Functions:
- Execute employee onboarding functions for all new hires, including orientation, company policy review, benefits review, and employment verifications. Maintain new hire files.
- Track, distribute, and file applications.
- Assist with unemployment compensation claims by submitting reports and documentation.
- Assist with FMLA case administration, including regular communication with employees and management.
- Support the administration of employee benefits (enrollment, claims, terminations, issues) in partnership with the FreshEdge Benefits Manager and PEO. Benefits include Health & Welfare Benefits and 401(k) retirement plans.
- Facilitate day-to-day interaction with employees to oversee all areas of the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the payroll team to guarantee timely and accurate pay for all employees. Communicate with employees on the resolution of any payroll processing concerns.
- Coordinate with staffing agencies and placement firms to guarantee seamless onboarding, orientation, and training.
- Assist with the safety team to facilitate a culture of workplace safety through workers compensation administration, light duty programs, and injury tracking. Participate in scheduled safety committee meetings.

Education & Experience:
- A minimum of a Highschool diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years of successful experience of the above duties are preferred
- Proficient PC skills in CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems- Produce Pro, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail systems
- Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
