We are seeking a Training Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and administer training programs that build employee skills, strengthen company culture, and support a consistent, high-quality experience across the organization. You will manage logistics, develop materials, support new hire onboarding, and drive internal communications that keep learning initiatives running smoothly and landing with impact. This role is for someone who is organized, proactive, and uses AI to work more efficiently — from drafting training content and communications to managing program logistics and tracking completions across platforms.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate training logistics including scheduling sessions, booking venues, arranging equipment, and managing communications with trainers and participants from start to finish
- Use AI tools to accelerate content development, draft training communications and newsletters, summarize feedback, build session materials, and streamline recurring program administration
- Support delivery of training sessions, including co-facilitating new hire orientation in partnership with the broader HR team
- Manage participant registrations, track attendance, collect and analyze feedback, and recommend improvements to program effectiveness based on what the data shows
- Maintain accurate training records including attendance, evaluations, materials, and expenses, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Coordinate external vendor trainings, managing logistics, communications, and participant follow-up throughout
- Coordinate the intern program including onboarding, orientation, scheduling, and ongoing engagement activities
- Plan, create, and coordinate recurring monthly training initiatives including the Monthly Learning Challenge and Grub Club, managing all communications, logistics, and execution
- Support Workday Learning administration including uploading and creating courses, assigning learners, and tracking completions; manage LinkedIn Learning access for new hires and terminations
- Create or source training materials including presentations, manuals, handouts, and multimedia resources, using AI to produce content faster and at a higher standard of quality
- Develop and maintain SOPs that support team consistency and knowledge transfer
- Support the new hire experience through orientation presentations, Company Overview program coordination, and administration of 30-60-90 day plans and goal setup in Workday
- Administer the new hire buddy program, connecting new associates with buddies and supporting the program throughout the onboarding period
- Develop and distribute internal HR communications including the weekly HR newsletter, intranet updates, monthly training newsletter, and course and event communications
- Maintain and update HR content on internal platforms, ensuring information is current and accessible to all employees
- Support employee engagement initiatives, culture-building programs, and fundraising coordination including donation tracking, processing, and EIB management
- Manage the HR training inbox and Workfront ticket queue on a rotating basis, responding to requests and escalating as needed
What Sets You Apart
- Proven experience coordinating or supporting training programs in a professional environment, with strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- An AI-native mindset. You actively use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to draft training content, build communications, summarize program feedback, and automate recurring administrative tasks — and you can speak to how they improve what you deliver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workday Learning or similar training management systems, and intranet or internal communications platforms
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methods
- Detail-oriented with a consistent focus on delivering high-quality work and following through on every commitment
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments in a fast-moving environment
- Proactive, dependable, and quick to adapt when priorities shift
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Communications, or a related field
AI Capability Expectation
Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they are currently using AI in their training coordination or HR work. This includes:
- Specific tools in active use and how they are applied to content creation, communications drafting, scheduling, feedback analysis, or program administration
- Examples of how AI has helped you produce training materials faster, communicate more consistently, or manage program logistics with less manual effort
- How you stay current as new AI tools and features become available and how you apply them to your day-to-day work
- Bonus: examples of AI tools or workflows you have introduced or suggested that helped your team save time, improve content quality, or increase program reach
Compensation Range
$47,500 to $52,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. Compensation will depend on factors including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
