A leading Fortune 500 organization is seeking an Entry-Level Human Resources Coordinator to join its Corporate Human Resources team in Charlotte, NC. This contract opportunity is supporting a large organizational initiative and is an excellent way to launch a career in Human Resources. Recent college graduates and early-career professionals with strong customer service, administrative, or HR internship experience are encouraged to apply.

This position offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of HR functions while working alongside an experienced Human Resources team in a fast-paced corporate environment.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers by responding to HR-related questions via phone and email.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving routine HR inquiries accurately and professionally.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and HR documentation.
  • Process employee transactions and maintain accurate records within HR systems.
  • Assist with employment verifications, unemployment claims, benefits administration, payroll reporting, and document management.
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and employee communications.
  • Ensure HR transactions are completed accurately and within established service level expectations.
  • Escalate complex employee questions to appropriate HR partners while remaining engaged through resolution.
  • Support HR projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a positive employee experience.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field (recent graduates highly encouraged to apply).
  • 1–2 years of experience through internships, administrative roles or customer service roles in Human resources, internships count as experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and HR systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in Human Resources.
