As a representative of the Human Resources team and the Hyatt brand, the HR Coordinator is expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and integrity while fostering positive relationships with colleagues, applicants, and leaders.

    The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in the daily operations of a dynamic Human Resources office. This position is responsible for welcoming colleagues, applicants, and visitors while providing exceptional administrative support. Key responsibilities include answering and directing incoming calls, responding to colleague and applicant inquiries, managing walk-in requests, maintaining the HR office environment, coordinating colleague relations initiatives, supporting special projects, safeguarding confidential employee information, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities.

    Qualifications

    • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.

    • A genuine passion for serving others and thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

    • Strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal, and time-management skills.

    • Previous Human Resources experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
