Human Resources Coordinator

MegaKC is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!

\n

This is a hands-on HR role with a primary focus on recruiting and onboarding the people who help build our business—from field and craft employees to project professionals and administrative team members.

\n

\n

As an employee-owned general contractor, our people are at the center of what we do. We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with candidates, creating a great new-hire experience, staying organized, and supporting employees throughout their time at MegaKC.

\n

What You’ll Do

\n

• Manage recruiting activities from job posting and candidate sourcing through screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment requirements

\n

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build candidate pipelines

\n

• Coordinate onboarding from accepted offer through orientation and the introductory period

\n

• Help ensure every new employee-owner has an organized, welcoming start

\n

• Serve as a resource for routine employee questions related to benefits, ESOP, policies, time off, and HR processes

\n

• Assist with benefits administration, performance and development processes, employee engagement, leave, and workers’ compensation documentation

\n

• Maintain accurate employee records and support HR compliance, reporting, training, and other people-related initiatives

\n

• Help improve HR processes as MegaKC continues to grow

\n

\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience, including recruiting and onboarding

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

\n

• Working knowledge of benefits, employment laws, and HR compliance

\n

• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and attention to detail

\n

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality

\n

• Experience with HRIS/applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office

\n

• Construction or skilled-trades experience is a plus

\n
