About the Role:

The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and delivering an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This position provides administrative and operational support across recruiting, onboarding, employee records, compliance, benefits administration, training, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment while exemplifying Maverick Power's core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as initial resource for employee questions, directing inquiries and providing timely, professional support.
  • Support the onboarding process, ensuring new team members have a positive and seamless start at Maverick Power.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, prepare welcome materials, and distribute onboarding packets and company swag.
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other internal systems.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential employee personnel files in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Assist employees with access to timekeeping, benefits, and other HR systems.
  • Process employment verifications, Form I-9s, E-Verify, and other required employment documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain the HR and Training Calendar, coordinating logistics for training sessions, meetings, and employee events.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance review administration and documentation.
  • Compile and prepare HR reports, metrics, audits, and other data to support business decisions and compliance requirements.
  • Answer and route HR-related phone calls through the RingCentral system and monitor shared HR communications.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events that foster Maverick Power's culture.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team, including document preparation, filing, correspondence, and special projects.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and the employee experience.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and move throughout office and manufacturing environments.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to set up training rooms and employee events, including moving light equipment and materials as needed.

Work Environment:
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
