A growing machinery manufacturing company in the Bay Area is looking for a hands-on Senior HR Manager to lead its HR function and report directly to the CEO.
What You'll Do
Own HR decision-making, from employee relations and investigations to policy and compliance
Rebuild performance management into a more objective, structured process
Design and personally deliver training programs for managers and supervisors
Build a formal compensation structure and partner on benefits strategy
Lead workers' comp and leave case management
Oversee an HR generalist and recruiter
What You Bring
7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in HR management
Manufacturing or industrial background with hourly, multi-shift workforce experience
Strong knowledge of California employment law
Track record building or rebuilding an HR function, not just running an existing one
SHRM or PHR certification a plus, not required
Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Compensation: $135,000-$150,000/yr
