Position Overview: 
The HR Director will act as a strategic partner to leadership, driving HR initiatives that support growth, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. This highly visible role requires a charismatic, polished leader with strong executive presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead with strategy and finesse. The ideal candidate will build relationships across all levels of the organization, navigate complex employee matters, and foster a high-performance culture. Key responsibilities include overseeing employee relations, compliance, talent strategy, onboarding, leadership coaching, and overall HR operations aligned with business goals. 

Location: Lakewood, NJ  
Job Type: Full Time 
Schedule: Onsite – Travel involved 
Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, compensation, benefits, and organizational development  
  • Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business goals  
  • Drive culture initiatives that strengthen accountability, collaboration, and engagement  
  • Advise leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational structure  
  • Develop and implement scalable HR policies and best practices  
  • Oversee leadership coaching, employee development, and performance improvement programs  
  • Manage complex employee relations matters with discretion and sound judgment  
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws  
  • Analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decisions  
  • Support multi-site operations and travel as needed 

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years Human Resources leadership experience in a Director-level or similar role  
  • Proven ability to lead with confidence, diplomacy, and exec-level communication skills  
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment  
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities  
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and driving organizational change  
  • Deep understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices  

Compensation 
The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
