Dynamic organization located in Miami, FL is looking to hire a Human Resources Director. In this role, you will manage human resources functions including overseeing the administration of payroll, hiring, retention, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, and planning strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer personnel rules and policies, compensation and position classification structure, and programs for employee training, safety, health, and morale
- Design and implement policies for hiring and oversee adherence to EEOC and affirmative action programs and diversity goals set by the corporation
- Establish strategies that seek to increase retention rates and foster employee job satisfaction
- Ensure that any terminations are well documented and are not arbitrary or discriminatory, and comply with all laws and regulations
- Oversee maintenance of accurate and complete personnel records. Ensure that rules concerning confidentiality and retention are followed
- Keep abreast of legislation affecting human resources; train management and monitor company policies to ensure compliance
- Manage the Talent Acquisition process including preparation of job descriptions and compensation programs, employee on-boarding and new-hire training
- Optimize benefits coverage and costs by continual review and modification where appropriate
- Work with top management to set long-term staffing goals and strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree specializing in Human Resources, Communications or related field
- 10+ years of human resources experience including management and organizational experience
- Must possess strong task-management, verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable federal and state labor laws
