The opportunity
Help shape a new state agency by building the team and practices that support its people. The newly established North Carolina Council of District Attorneys seeks an experienced, collaborative Human Resources Director to develop its HR operations in support of North Carolina’s elected District Attorneys and the prosecution function of the State of North Carolina.
As part of the Council’s founding team, you will have the opportunity to build an HR team, establish practical systems, and help create a workplace where employees feel supported and equipped to succeed. Your work will influence how the Council recruits talented people, develops its workforce, and delivers dependable personnel services to District Attorney offices across the state.
The Council’s culture centers on collaboration, public service, and respect for the expertise each colleague brings. We are looking for a leader who listens carefully, communicates clearly, and enjoys working alongside others to turn new challenges into workable solutions. This is an opportunity to put your experience to work in shaping an agency’s future and supporting the people who carry out North Carolina’s prosecution mission.
