Job Summary The Human Resources Generalist supports all aspects of human resources operations within a hospitality environment,. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture that supports exceptional guest service. Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annually Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Staffing Assist with workforce planning and staffing needs. Post job openings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews. Conduct reference checks and employment verifications. Manage hiring and onboarding processes for new employees. Participate in job fairs and recruitment events. Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Assist managers with employee performance and disciplinary matters. Investigate employee complaints and recommend resolutions. Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives. Support conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment. Training & Development Coordinate new hire orientation programs. Track mandatory training and certifications. Assist with leadership development and employee training programs. Identify opportunities for employee growth and career development. Compensation & Benefits Support benefits enrollment and employee education regarding benefit programs. Maintain employee records related to compensation and benefits. Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping issues. Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay and benefits. Analyze turnover and retention data to identify trends. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Experience 2-5 years of Human Resources experience. Hospitality industry experience preferred. Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Customer service-oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
