Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing industry specializing in seafood processing, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be part of the Human Resources Department supporting production, warehouse, quality assurance, maintenance, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, proactive problem-solving, and strong organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Human Resources Generalist **Location:** Anacortes, WA **Pay Range:30/hr-35/hr DOE** **Shift:Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm** **What's the Job?** + Recruit, interview, and hire a diverse range of employees including production staff, sanitation, warehouse, quality assurance, maintenance, and administrative personnel. + Manage hiring processes, coordinate job postings, applicant tracking, background checks, onboarding, and new hire documentation. + Address employee relations issues such as attendance, coaching, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace concerns. + Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, OSHA, workers' compensation, and safety regulations. + Support payroll processing, benefits enrollment, leave management, and employee recordkeeping to maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation. **What's Needed?** + Minimum of 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environments. + Strong knowledge of Washington State and Federal labor laws and employment regulations. + Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and automated payroll systems (ERP). **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment supporting a vital industry. + Engagement in meaningful work that impacts the company's success and workforce wellbeing. + Potential for professional growth and development within a reputable organization. + Supportive team environment that values diversity and employee engagement. + Competitive salary aligned with experience and industry standards.
