LHH is partnering with a growing, people-focused organization in the Portland metro area to hire an HR Generalist who will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee experience initiatives, and organizational growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys beinghands-on across multiple areas of Human Resources while partnering closely with leadership and employees alike.

This position offers a collaborative environment, strong leadership visibility, and the opportunity to contribute to both strategic initiatives and daily HR operations.

This is a hybrid position based in the Portland, OR area. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a targeted base salary range of $95,000-$110,000, plus comprehensive benefits.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support day-to-day HR operations across employee relations, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and performance management
  • Partner with managers and employees to provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation to create a positive employee experience
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, culture-building efforts, and retention strategies
  • Support recruitment efforts including scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding coordination
  • Maintain and update employee records, HRIS systems, and personnel documentation
  • Partner on leave administration, accommodations, and benefits-related processes
  • Assist with performance review cycles, employee development initiatives, and training coordination
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives as the organization continues to grow
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or broad HR support capacity
  • Experience supporting multiple HR functions including employee relations, onboarding, benefits, and compliance
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification is a plus
