Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Description: We are seeking an HR Generalist in San Diego with strong payroll experience and knowledge of HR operations and compliance. This role will support employee relations, onboarding, and benefits. Responsibilities will expand after training.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and California regulations
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Provide support on employee relations matters, including documentation and investigations
  • Maintain and update ATS and HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Assist with corporate communications, including internal announcements and employee updates
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards, and support recruitment efforts as needed
Qualifications:
  • Strong full-cycle payroll experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced technical aptitude, including proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and reporting systems
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce polished, error-free work
  • Stable career progression with the ability to clearly explain reasons for leaving previous roles and any employment gaps
  • Strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and follow-through
  • Effective communicator who can build trust and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Employment Type: Remote during training, will move to hybrid, Full Time
